Fred Miller, President and CEO
Co-founder of Navigation Petroleum, LLC in 2015, Fred has 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He served in a variety of engineering roles including production, completions and reservoir engineering. He also has experience in management and leadership roles. Specifically Fred was the District Engineer for the Rocky Mountain Region at Carrizo Oil and Gas, Inc. from 2010 to 2015, overseeing the development of over 100 horizontal Niobrara wells in the Northeast Extension area of the DJ Basin. He managed operations, midstream, engineering and design in areas of variable reservoir and formation complexity. Previously he was a Production and Operations Engineer with Devon Energy 2006-2010, where he optimized design programs for both vertical and horizontal wells in a variety of plays across the gulf coast. Previously Fred worked as Production, Operations, and Reservoir Engineer with Texas Petroleum Investment Company from 2004 - 2006. Fred has a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
